HP College of Law is hiring for the position of Assistant Professor of Law to join their office in Sirmaur, Himachal Pradesh.
Role and Responsibilities
- Deliver lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Guide students in moot courts, legal research projects, internships, and co-curricular activities.
- Contribute to curriculum development in accordance with BCI and university guidelines.
- Actively participate in institutional academic and legal aid initiatives.
- Assess students through internal evaluations, assignments, and examinations.
- Engage in seminars, workshops, research publications, and overall academic development of the institution.
Eligibility
- Educational Qualifications (as per BCI & UGC/HPU norms):
- Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M) with a minimum of 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized university.
- Must have qualified the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by UGC or an equivalent test such as SLET/SET.
- Candidates with a Ph.D. in Law awarded in accordance with UGC regulations are exempted from NET/SLET requirements.
- Preference will be given to candidates with a BCI-compliant integrated LL.B. degree and demonstrated teaching aptitude.
