Karnavati University (KU) is hiring for the position of Assistant Professor of Law with 2-3 years of experience to join their campus in Gandhinagar.
Role and Responsibilities
- Teaching & Curriculum Development:
- Deliver undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Intellectual Property Rights and related legal subjects.
- Develop, update, and enhance curriculum and course materials to reflect industry advancements and academic trends.
- Research & Publications:
- Engage in scholarly research and contribute to publications in reputed legal journals.
- Participate in academic conferences, workshops, and legal forums.
- Student Mentorship:
- Guide and mentor students in academic projects, internships, and research initiatives.
- Foster a learning environment that encourages critical thinking, innovation, and ethical practices.
- Institutional Engagement:
- Participate in departmental activities, university committees, and community outreach programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the academic development and institutional growth of the law department.
Eligibility
Educational Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Law with a specialization in Intellectual Property Rights, recognized by UGC.
Experience:
- 2-3 years of teaching experience in IPR or related legal subjects at the university/college level.
- Demonstrated record of research and publications in recognized legal journals.
- Active participation in legal forums, conferences, or workshops.
