Details of the Job/Internship
BITS Law School invites applications for full-time faculty positions (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) for the December 2025/January 2026 session.
Role and Responsibilities
- Teach semester-length courses in Property Law, Family Law, Law of Crimes, Civil Procedure Code, Evidence Law/BSA, Environmental Law, ADR, and related subjects.
- Mentor students in research, writing, and tutorials.
- Design core and elective courses and curate specialization modules for law students.
- Engage in academic research, publish in high-quality peer-reviewed journals, and pursue scholarly projects.
- Fulfil academic duties related to assessments, evaluations, feedback, and examinations with integrity and timeliness.
- Contribute to institution-building, introducing innovative teaching techniques and new academic initiatives.
Eligibility
- Master’s Degree in Law (LL.M.) with at least 55% marks or equivalent.
- Qualified in UGC NET or similar accredited tests (SLET/SET).
- Preferably holds or is close to completing a Ph.D. in Law.
- Demonstrated high-quality scholarly research published or accepted in peer-reviewed journals.
- Exposure to interdisciplinary research and academic collaborations is desirable.
