Details of the Job/Internship

JAIN (Deemed-to-be University) is hiring faculty members across multiple seniority levels (Assistant, Associate, and Professor) to join their Law Department in Bangalore.

Role and Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching and lectures to both undergraduate and postgraduate law students.
• Develop, review, and update the law curriculum to reflect contemporary global and national legal developments.
• Actively engage in original research, secure funded projects, and maintain a consistent record of quality publications.
• Mentor students and provide expert guidance for research projects (particularly for senior faculty roles).
• Manage administrative duties within the department and contribute to institutional committee work.
• Lead and participate in outreach activities, legal aid initiatives, and industry collaborations.
• Foster an inclusive learning environment that emphasizes professional growth and academic ethics.

Eligibility

• Ph.D. in Law or a highly relevant specialization (Mandatory).
• Strong academic record with proven experience in teaching or research at the university level.
• Demonstrable evidence of quality publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Specialization Areas: Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, IP & Corporate Law, IT Law, or Technology Law.
• Previous experience in managing research projects or industry engagement is highly preferred.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills suitable for an academic environment.
