Everstone Capita is hiring an Assistant Vice President – Legal with experience in independently handling real estate lease transactions to join their team in the Mumbai Metropolitan Region.
Role and Responsibilities
- Independently handle lease transactions across projects.
- Draft, review, and negotiate lease and real estate agreements.
- Ensure execution of all leasing-related legal transactions at the PAN India level.
- Coordinate with leasing teams, clients, and law firms.
- Attend client meetings to understand leasing requirements.
- Conduct due diligence on property titles and land.
- Ensure compliance with stamp duty and registration processes.
- Support leasing teams with legal insights to finalize transactions.
- Handle meetings and discussions with lessees independently.
Eligibility
- Experience in independently drafting, reviewing, and executing lease agreements.
- Background in real estate (commercial/retail), law firms, or IPC sectors.
- Familiarity with stamp duty and registration processes.
- Preferred experience with retail mall/outlet clients.
- Proficiency in due diligence related to property and land.
Salary/Stipend
