Details of the Job/Internship
Northern Arc Capital is hiring an Assistant Vice President-Legal with expertise in documentation, review, and negotiation to join their legal team. The role involves handling debt capital market transactions, loans and guarantees, structured finance transactions, service contracts, and fund documentation.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, efficient legal advice and assistance. Manage transaction documentation from inception to settlement while operating autonomously with strong business acumen and excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.
- Handle transactions of group companies on both the asset and liability sides, assist and communicate with internal functions, and interface with external clients and peers.
- Oversee contract management by reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing contracts; maintaining a centralized repository for legal documents; utilizing contract management tools; and ensuring timely updates and tracking of contract milestones.
Eligibility
Candidates with 5 to 10 years’ experience at banks, large financial institutions, or law firms are preferred. Familiarity with RBI and SEBI regulations is required.
