Details of the Job/Internship
BITS Law School, Mumbai is hiring an Assistant/ Associate Professor (Law) to join its Greater Mumbai Campus in Kalyan with joining scheduled for May 2026 / June 2026. The position involves delivering high-quality teaching, conducting impactful research, contributing to curriculum development, mentoring students, and participating in academic and administrative activities within the institution.
Role and Responsibilities
- Design and deliver comprehensive course modules using innovative teaching methods such as the Socratic method, case studies, and experiential learning.
- Maintain an active research profile with publications in high-impact, peer-reviewed journals.
- Contribute to curriculum development, student mentoring, and participation in administrative committees.
- Teach in one or more focus areas including Contract Law, Civil Procedure Code, Corporate Law, Technology Law, Entertainment Law and Sports Law, Clinical Legal Education, Administrative Law, and ADR.
Eligibility
- LLM from a prestigious Indian or foreign university.
- Must have completed a PhD in Law or be currently pursuing a PhD from a reputed institution.
- Prior teaching experience or significant practice experience in litigation, law firms, or research is highly preferred.
