Details of the Job/Internship
Sun Life Global Solutions India is hiring an Assistant Manager / Manager – Legal (Contract Specialist) with 5–12 years of experience to join their office in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including distribution, outsourcing, marketing, and IT-related contracts.
- Collaborate with legal teams across geographies including Canada, Hong Kong, Philippines, Indonesia, Vietnam, and the USA.
- Interpret legal terms and ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory frameworks.
- Maintain legal documentation and contract records.
- Monitor contract milestones, renewals, and risk areas.
- Support development of legal toolkits, templates, and internal training.
- Participate in incident responses related to privacy, security, or service disruptions.
Eligibility
- LLB is mandatory.
- Advanced degree in law or contract management is preferred.
- 5–12 years of relevant experience in insurance, IT/ITES, consulting, or service industries.
- Experience in global contracting, legal risk management, and stakeholder communication.
- Preferred experience in contract lifecycle tools.
- Bilingual proficiency (English and French) is an advantage.
