Details of the Job/Internship
Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys is hiring an Associate for its Commercial Litigation team in Hyderabad, ideally suited for recent law graduates with 0–1 year of post-qualification experience in commercial litigation and arbitration.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft replies to legal notices, pleadings, and written submissions across forums.
- Assist in domestic and international arbitration and commercial litigation cases.
- Conduct legal research and draft preliminary documents.
- Coordinate with clients and court clerks for filings and updates.
- Visit courts and client sites as necessary.
- Contribute articles or thought pieces on dispute-related subjects.
- Collaborate with seniors in document preparation and case strategies.
Eligibility
- 3-year or 5-year LL.B degree from a reputed university with a strong academic background.
- 0–1 year of experience in commercial litigation/arbitration.
- Prior involvement in mid to high-stakes domestic and international arbitrations.
- Drafting experience with civil suits, writs, appeals, SLPs, legal notices, and arbitration pleadings.
- Familiarity with IBC, CPC, Limitation Act, Company Law, and constitutional law.
