Details of the Job/Internship
Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan is hiring an Associate with 1–3 years of experience in Indirect Tax Advisory to join their Delhi office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of indirect tax laws and provisions.
- Draft legal opinions, advisories, and compliance reports.
- Prepare presentations for client meetings, training, and seminars.
- Analyze client data for tax impact and optimize business models for tax efficiency.
- Provide client advisory services and manage tax disputes, submissions, appeals, and representation before tax authorities.
- Develop professional rapport with clients and internal teams.
- Stay updated on tax laws, legal developments, and industry trends.
- Contribute to firm knowledge management and identify business opportunities.
Eligibility
- Chartered Accountant or Law Graduate from a recognized institution.
- 1–3 years post-qualification experience in indirect tax advisory or litigation.
- Strong analytical, research, and communication skills.
- Proactive, reliable with close attention to detail.
