Details of the Job/Internship
Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys is hiring an Associate in Indirect Tax Advisory with 0–2 years of experience to join their office in Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis of legal provisions.
- Draft advisory notes, opinions, and compliance reports.
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations for clients, trainings, and seminars.
- Analyze client data to estimate tax impacts on transactions.
- Develop tax-efficient business models through scenario analysis.
- Contribute to firm publications such as articles and monographs.
- Handle tax submissions, replies, appeals, and represent clients before authorities.
- Manage smaller clients independently and build rapport with client management.
- Stay updated on legal developments, circulars, and notifications.
- Participate in firm knowledge management and contribute to study sessions.
Eligibility
- CA or Law Graduate from a reputed law school with strong academics.
- 0–2 years of post-qualification experience in indirect tax advisory or litigation (GST and/or Customs preferred).
- Excellent communication, drafting, analytical, and research skills.
- Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented professional.
