Details of the Job/Internship
Peritum Partners is hiring an Associate – Technology and Business Lawyer with 2–4 years of experience to join their office in Chennai. The role involves advising clients on legal matters at the intersection of law, business, and technology, with a focus on drafting, negotiating, and reviewing commercial and IP agreements.
Role and Responsibilities
- Understand clients’ business goals and offer practical, strategic legal advice.
- Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial and tech-centric agreements (e.g., SaaS, licensing, MSAs, SLAs, privacy policies).
- Provide legal support to companies in AI, robotics, fintech, blockchain, and data sectors.
- Conduct legal research and contribute to thought leadership through content creation.
- Participate in speaking engagements and internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Eligibility
- Enrolled Advocate.
- 2–4 years of legal experience (exceptional candidates with less experience may be considered).
- Strong academic background in law.
- Prior experience working with technology or IP-intensive businesses.
