Details of the Job/Internship
Vaish Associates Advocates is hiring an Associate to join its General Corporate team in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle matters relating to capital markets, including legal due diligence and participation in DRHP/RHP drafting processes.
- Ensure compliance with SEBI regulations, including LODR, ICDR, delisting regulations, and related frameworks.
- Draft and review transaction documents and ancillary agreements.
- Prepare legal opinions and advisory notes under the Companies Act, 2013, FEMA, FCRA, and applicable SEBI regulations.
- Draft, vet, and advise on a wide range of commercial and corporate agreements.
- Advise clients on ongoing corporate, regulatory, and compliance matters, including interaction with regulators when required.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognised/reputed institution.
- Qualified Company Secretary with active ICSI membership (mandatory).
- Around 2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Prior experience in capital markets, transaction advisory, and general corporate law.
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work proactively with senior team members and handle complex assignments.
