Details of the Job/Internship

Guidehouse is hiring an Associate for its Ethics and Compliance team in Chennai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end ethics and whistleblower investigations, including fact-finding and analysis.
• Evaluate allegations to determine legal implications, severity, and potential business risk.
• Develop detailed investigation plans that define scope, evidence requirements, and timelines.
• Review digital communications, data logs, and other documentation as part of the evidence collection.
• Conduct professional interviews with complainants, respondents, and witnesses.
• Prepare clear, evidence-based investigation reports and maintain audit-ready case files.
• Provide recommendations for disciplinary measures, corrective actions, and control improvements.
• Track compliance trends and report insights to leadership to strengthen the Ethics program.
• Support root cause analysis and participate in organizational training and awareness initiatives.

Eligibility

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Law, MBA, or a related field.
• 3–6 years of experience in ethics and compliance investigations, internal audit, or HR employee relations.
• Proven track record in handling end-to-end workplace investigations.
• Experience using case management systems (familiarity with NAVEX/EthicsPoint is preferred).
• Strong analytical ability to assess evidence and the credibility of witnesses.
• Exceptional report writing skills and the ability to communicate sensitive findings clearly.
• High level of objectivity, professionalism, and commitment to confidentiality.
• Willingness for occasional travel (up to 10%).
