Details of the Job/Internship
Kunal Khanna & Co. is hiring an Associate with experience of 2–3 years to join their office in New Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and file plaints, written statements, injunctions, and other pleadings in IP matters.
- Assist in counterfeit enforcement by preparing search and seizure requests and briefing Local Commissioners.
- Coordinate with enforcement agencies to execute field actions and seizures.
- Manage online brand protection, including notice-and-takedown procedures on e-commerce and social media platforms.
- Conduct legal research and case-law analysis to prepare strategy briefs and case notes.
- Handle daily case follow-ups with clients, court staff, and registries.
- Maintain structured case files and evidence sets for ongoing litigation.
- Attend hearings and assist senior counsel in litigation strategy execution.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized university.
- 2–3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE), with a preference for IPR litigation.
- Demonstrated interest in trademarks, copyrights, and enforcement actions.
- Solid foundations in legal drafting and research.
- Must be detail-oriented, organized, and a team player.
- Mandatory requirement for on-site presence at the Jangpura office.
