As part of the government counsel’s team, the office represents the State and various public authorities in legal proceedings. The practice focuses on public law, administrative litigation, and matters of significant governmental interest. It offers a fast-paced litigation environment that requires high levels of coordination with various government departments.
Details of the Job/Internship
The Office of the Additional Government Counsel is hiring an Associate Advocate with 3–4 years of active practice experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Represent the State and public authorities in government litigation before the High Court.
- Draft and review legal pleadings, petitions, and responses for public law matters.
- Conduct detailed legal research and prepare briefs for upcoming arguments.
- Manage file handling and coordinate directly with various government departments for case-related information.
- Perform court appearances and present oral arguments on behalf of the government.
Eligibility
- A minimum of 3–4 years of active practice experience before the Hon’ble Rajasthan High Court.
- Strong proficiency in legal drafting and oral advocacy.
- Preferably, hands-on exposure to government and public law litigation.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced environment.
- Available for immediate joining.
