The firm provides legal solutions across all areas of Intellectual Property and allied domains, including protection of IP and contentious matters before the Supreme Court of India, Delhi High Court, other High Courts, District Courts, Trademark Offices, the Copyright Office, the Design Office, the Patent Offices, WIPO, and the National Internet Exchange of India.
Details of the Job/Internship
My Legal Partners (MLP) is hiring an Associate Advocate (IPR) with 1–2 years of experience to join their office in West Delhi. The role involves handling trademark-related work, including searches, prosecution, portfolio management, and client advisory on IP practices in India.
Role and Responsibilities
- Conduct trademark searches and provide legal opinions.
- Manage and maintain IP filings, renewals, and prosecution of trademark applications.
- Prepare, maintain, and update client trademark portfolios.
- Handle client queries on IP practices in India and draft legal opinions.
- Prepare notices of opposition, counter-statements, evidence in support of replies, rectifications, notices, and rejoinders.
- Attend show cause hearings at the Trademark Registry.
Eligibility
LLB (3 years or 5 years).
