Details of the Job/Internship
Chambers of Arshil Ajay Shah is hiring an Associate Advocate (Litigation) with experience of 1–2 years to join their office in Mumbai. The role involves handling civil and commercial litigation and real estate matters. The selected candidate will join immediately. Salary will be as per industry standards and will be discussed during the interview. The office is located at Machinery House, 3rd Floor, B, Bharucha Marg, Kalaghoda, Fort, Mumbai – 400023.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, legal notices, and other court documents.
- Represent clients before courts in Mumbai, including the Hon’ble Bombay High Court, Small Causes Court, and City Civil Court (Fort and Mazgaon).
- Brief partners and counsels on case progress and strategy.
- Coordinate consistently with clients and counsels to ensure smooth case management and updates.
- Manage case files, deadlines, and court schedules independently.
Eligibility
- Minimum 1–2 years PQE with experience in handling civil and commercial litigation and real estate matters.
- Strong knowledge of law and civil litigation procedures.
- Excellent command of the English language, particularly in drafting pleadings and legal documents.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple assignments efficiently, and coordinate consistently with clients and counsels.
- Prior experience in law firms or chambers handling civil litigation matters will be preferred.
