Details of the Job/Internship
S.S. Rana & Co. is hiring an Associate Advocate/Senior Associate Advocate – Non IP Litigation with experience of 2–7 years to join their office in South Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft suits, written statements, writs, counter affidavits, rejoinders, appeals, contempt petitions, and miscellaneous applications.
- Prepare affidavits, commercial agreements, and conduct proofreading and editing.
- Handle suits for recovery, declaration, possession, injunction, and specific performance of contracts.
- Initiate, defend, and manage litigation matters.
- Analyse cases and stay updated with evolving legal developments.
- Appear before District Courts and High Court in Delhi, and outstation courts or tribunals when required.
- Coordinate, communicate, and plan with attorney teams handling multiple matters.
- Handle civil and commercial matters, with exposure to criminal matters as an added advantage.
- Travel to courts in South Delhi and other locations as required.
- Be flexible to work on weekends depending on urgent work requirements.
Eligibility
- LLB (3-year or 5-year) or LLM.
- 2–7 years of post-qualification experience in litigation.
- Experience in drafting and handling litigation matters.
- Prior court appearance experience before District Courts and High Court.
- Strong analytical and case management skills.
- Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
- Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
