Details of the Job/Internship
Aneja & Aneja is hiring an Associate Advocate (Litigation) with 5–10 years of experience to join their office in South Delhi.
Role and Responsibilities
- Oversee all stages of case management, ensuring all legal deadlines and procedural requirements are strictly met.
- Investigate relevant case laws and statutes to construct robust arguments for litigation.
- Advise clients on their legal rights, potential risks, and the progression of their cases.
- Prepare and draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, briefs, and other legal documentation.
- Conduct thorough investigations, interview witnesses, and manage the evidence-gathering process.
- Represent clients during hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution methods such as mediation and arbitration.
- Lead negotiations to settle disputes outside of court when it serves the client’s best interests.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB).
- 5–10 years of professional experience in litigation.
- Strong expertise in legal research and drafting.
- Proven track record in courtroom advocacy and client management.
- Ability to join within a notice period of 0–15 days.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
