Details of the Job/Internship
D. Majumdar & Associates is hiring for the position of Associate Advocate.
Role and Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing legal documents, attending court hearings and arbitrations, drafting and filing legal documents, and processing legal documentation.
- The Associate Advocate will also be responsible for communicating with clients and assisting the senior advocates with other legal matters.
Eligibility
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) or any related field is required.
- 0-2 years of experience working in a legal or law firm environment.
- Experience in drafting legal documents and completing research tasks.
- Highly organized and able to multitask while maintaining accuracy under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate legal concepts to non-legal stakeholders.
- Attention to detail and solid analytical skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
