Details of the Job/Internship
Saraswat Associate is hiring an Associate Advocate for a full-time position in Raipur. The role involves supporting litigation, conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, and assisting senior advocates in hearings.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft petitions, plaints, written statements, applications, and legal notices.
- Conduct in-depth legal research on case laws, statutes, and precedents.
- Manage filing processes for cases in various courts and tribunals, including e-filing.
- Assist senior advocates during hearings, including preparing briefs and organizing case files.
- Communicate professionally with clients, court clerks, and opposing counsel.
- Maintain and organize case files, documents, and important deadlines.
Eligibility
- Integrated 5-year LL.B. or 3-year LL.B. from a BCI-recognized university/college.
- Enrolled with the State Bar Council.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Proficiency in legal drafting, research, and litigation procedures, especially tax laws.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with legal research databases.
