Details of the Job/Internship

Unimarks Legal Solutions is hiring an Advocate – Litigation for a full-time role in Chennai.

Role and Responsibilities

• Appear and argue matters in Trial Courts, Consumer Forums, and Tribunals as per case strategy.
• Draft plaints, written statements, applications, petitions, and legal notices.
• Conduct research on case law, statutes, and procedural requirements.
• Review and draft commercial agreements, partnership deeds, and contracts.
• Coordinate with external counsel across jurisdictions.
• Maintain accurate case records and ensure timely compliance with court deadlines.

Eligibility

• Law graduate (BL/LLB) with 1–5 years of post-enrolment litigation experience.
• Hands-on experience in consumer matters, civil suits, or commercial disputes preferred.
• Ability to handle cases independently with minimal supervision.
• Strong drafting skills in English; Tamil proficiency is an advantage.
• Confident courtroom communication and presence before judicial officers.
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple matters simultaneously.

Salary/Stipend

₹25,000 – ₹40,000 per month, based on experience and capability.
