Details of the Job/Internship

Oath Law & Oath Planning is hiring an Associate Attorney for a remote, client-facing role in estate and financial planning. The position involves public education, client consultations, estate plan design, document execution, and collaboration with attorneys and advisors. No prior estate planning experience is required, and continuous mentorship and professional development are provided.

Role and Responsibilities

• Host and speak at public workshops to educate potential clients on estate and financial planning options.
• Conduct client consultations, gather necessary information, and assist clients in taking action.
• Design and review individualised estate plans aligned with client goals.
• Lead document signing appointments and clearly explain plans while addressing client questions.
• Collaborate with attorneys, advisors, and staff to deliver effective client service.
• Maintain detailed electronic records of meetings and communications.
• Meet weekly with a mentor attorney for ongoing guidance and professional development.
• Engage clients in integrated estate and financial planning discussions.
• Respond promptly to client needs via email and phone.

Eligibility

• Juris Doctor degree.
• Active law licence.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills.
• Comfort with public speaking, persuasion, and education-based sales.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Apple software preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Willingness to work early evenings twice a month.
• Reliable transportation, with a personal vehicle preferred.

Salary/Stipend
