Details of the Job/Internship
IndiaLaw LLP is hiring an Associate/Associate Trainee with 0-1 years of experienceto work for its Banking & Finance team at the Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate financing documents such as loan agreements, facility agreements, and security documents (hypothecation, mortgage, pledge).
- Conduct legal due diligence for secured lending and structured finance transactions.
- Advise on compliance with RBI, SEBI, and other financial sector regulations.
- Assist in transaction structuring for project finance, real estate, and corporate loans.
- Coordinate with internal teams, clients, NBFCs, and regulatory bodies.
- Stay updated on legal and regulatory developments in banking and finance laws.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a reputed university (LL.M. preferred).
- 0–1 year of experience (internship experience in banking, finance, or corporate law considered).
- Strong research, drafting, and analytical skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
