Details of the Job/Internship
Tavish Law Offices LLP is hiring an Associate – Capital Markets with 5–6 years of experience to join their office in Pune.
Role and Responsibilities
- Hands-on experience with IPOs, QIPs, Rights Issues, InvITs/REITs, NCDs, and preferential allotments.
- Familiarity with the listing process and interaction with SEBI, stock exchanges, and merchant bankers.
- Ability to draft, review, and negotiate DRHPs, RHPs, placement memoranda, transaction documents, and board/shareholder resolutions.
- Experience in preparing legal opinions and due diligence reports for capital markets transactions.
- Sound understanding of SEBI regulations (ICDR, LODR, PIT, SAST, etc.), Companies Act, FEMA, and other laws relevant to securities offerings.
- Ability to identify transaction-related issues and advise on structuring. Capacity to conduct legal research and benchmark disclosures effectively.
- Experience in coordinating with clients, investment bankers, counsels, and regulatory authorities.
- Strong communication skills for managing client relationships and delivering strategic legal advice.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal databases, and capital markets compliance platforms.
Eligibility
- PQE: 5–6 years. LL.B. from a recognized university.
- Prior experience in Capital Markets practice at a reputed law firm or financial institution.
- Based in Pune (mandatory).
