Details of the Job/Internship
IndiaLaw LLP is hiring a Civil Litigation Associate with approximately 1 year of post-qualification experience to join its Fort, Mumbai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, written submissions, and legal notices.
- Conduct detailed legal research on case law, statutes, and procedural aspects.
- Assist senior associates and partners in civil and commercial litigation matters.
- Prepare case briefs, chronologies, and supporting documentation for court proceedings.
- Coordinate with counsel and attend court proceedings when required.
- Manage case files, maintain records, and ensure procedural compliance.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognised university.
- Enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
- Approximately 1 year of post-qualification experience in civil litigation.
- Candidate must be based in Mumbai.
