Details of the Job/Internship
IndiaLaw LLP is hiring a Civil Litigation Associate with 2 years of post-qualification experience to join their office in Fort, Mumbai.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, applications, affidavits, written submissions, and legal notices.
- Conduct detailed legal research on case laws, statutes, and procedural aspects.
- Assist senior associates and partners in ongoing litigation matters.
- Prepare case briefs, chronologies, and supporting documentation.
- Coordinate with counsel and attend court proceedings when required.
- Manage case files, maintain records, and ensure procedural compliance.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a recognised university.
- Enrolled with the Bar Council of India.
- Approximately 1–2 years of post-qualification experience in civil litigation.
- Candidate must be based in Mumbai.
- Strong drafting and research skills.
- Attention to detail and analytical ability.
- Ability to manage multiple matters and meet deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Exposure to civil and commercial litigation is preferred.
- Familiarity with court procedures in Mumbai is preferred.
