Details of the Job/Internship

Coursera is hiring an Associate Commercial Counsel with 2+ years of post-qualification experience to join its Legal and Compliance team in India on a remote, full-time basis.

Role and Responsibilities

Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including sales contracts, NDAs, DPAs, and vendor documents.
Advise sales, privacy, information security, and finance teams on legal and contractual matters.
Support creation and maintenance of contract templates, playbooks, and processes.
Track contracts from intake to execution and maintain electronic contract records.
Interpret contractual terms and advise on legal and business risks.
Monitor applicable laws, regulations, and industry guidance impacting commercial agreements.

Eligibility

Law graduate with 2+ years of relevant post-qualification experience.
Experience in commercial contract negotiation, including international transactions.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Proficiency in G Suite and Microsoft Word.
