Addleshaw Goddard is hiring an Associate with experience in commercial disputes to join their Commercial Disputes team in Manchester. The role offers the opportunity to work with experienced UK and international colleagues on high-quality and complex matters, contributing to the continued growth of the practice in a supportive and ambitious environment.

Role and Responsibilities

• Managing a varied caseload of commercial disputes across multiple sectors.
• Working closely with Partners in the UK and internationally on strategic, high-value matters.
• Gaining exposure to litigation, arbitration and alternative dispute resolution forums.
• Developing expertise in specialist areas including finance, fraud, construction, IT and IP.
• Contributing to complex, cross-disciplinary matters by collaborating with colleagues across the firm.
• Building strong client relationships and supporting business development initiatives.
• Participating in ongoing training and professional development.

Eligibility

• Strong experience supporting commercial disputes matters with solid technical legal knowledge.
• Excellent drafting, communication and analytical skills.
• A pragmatic and commercial approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, collaborative team player with enthusiasm for business development and learning.

Salary/Stipend
