Details of the Job/Internship

Singhania & Co. (S&Co.) is hiring an Associate–Commercial Litigation & Arbitration with experience of 1 to 2 years to join their office in New Delhi. In addition to producing legal documents, conducting research, and defending clients before various courts and tribunals, the function includes managing litigation and arbitration matters. The ideal applicant should be able to operate in a fast-paced setting, possess excellent analytical abilities, and have a thorough awareness of procedural laws.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting applications, pleadings, and legal opinions for cases involving arbitration and litigation.
• Acting as a client's advocate in court, arbitration, and mediation.
• Researching statutes, case law, and international arbitration regulations.
• Working together with clients, senior attorneys, and other interested parties.
• Helping to prepare legal arguments and case strategy.
• Maintaining case files and making sure that all formalities are followed.

Eligibility

• Earned a three- or five-year LL.B. from an accredited university.
• At least one year of expertise resolving disputes, specializing in commercial litigation and arbitration.
• Excellent research and drafting abilities.
• Knowledge of contract law, civil process, and arbitration norms.
• Outstanding customer management and communication abilities.
• The capacity to operate both individually and collaboratively.
