Details of the Job/Internship
Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan is hiring an Associate – Commercial Litigation with 1–3 years of post-qualification experience to join their Hyderabad office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Handle commercial litigation, arbitration, and civil/criminal matters.
- Draft legal notices, pleadings, rejoinders, appeals, writs, SLPs, and written submissions.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case strategies.
- Assist partners in drafting and court appearances.
- Communicate with clients and provide legal updates.
- File documents and represent matters before courts and tribunals.
- Visit courts, regulatory authorities, and client offices as required.
Eligibility
- 3/5-year law degree from a reputed university with a strong academic record.
- 1–3 years of post-qualification experience in commercial litigation, real estate, or arbitration.
- Experience in handling commercial disputes and arbitration matters.
- Knowledge of commercial laws, CPC, IBC, Limitation Act, Company Law, and Constitution.
- Strong drafting, research, and analytical skills.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Ability to work under supervision and handle multiple tasks.
- Prior experience in corporate advisory or IPR disputes is a plus.
