Details of the Job/Internship
In this role, one will assist the main Company Secretary in ensuring compliance with corporate governance standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices across multiple jurisdictions. This role involves supporting the main company secretary in managing the corporate governance functions for companies incorporated in India, Singapore, and other jurisdictions, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with legal and regulatory obligations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Assist the Company Secretary in overseeing and ensuring secretarial compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements in India, Singapore and other jurisdictions.
- Prepare and file documents required by regulatory authorities, Internal teams including annual returns, resolutions, RBI flings and other statutory filings.
- Maintain and update corporate records, including registers, minute books, and other statutory documents.
- Assist in coordinating and organizing meetings of the board of directors, shareholders, and committees, including scheduling, preparing materials, and managing post-meeting follow-up actions.
- Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures as related to areas
- Monitor changes in corporate governance regulations and practices in relevant jurisdictions,
- Assists in compliance with the SHA requirements.
Eligibility
- ICSI Membership number
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in company secretarial practice,
- Knowledge of company law
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and corporate secretarial software.
