Details of the Job/Internship
Ather Energy is hiring an Associate Compliance Counsel with a minimum of 4 years’ post-qualification experience to join its Corporate Legal Team in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage organisation-wide compliance activities, including tracking adherence to laws, regulations, and policies.
- Assess compliance requirements for all functions and develop a compliance playbook.
- Sensitise stakeholders on compliance implications and ensure timely adherence.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate compliance risks across functions.
- Design and deliver compliance training modules.
- Track legal and regulatory developments, analyse impacts, and update stakeholders.
- Provide strategic advice on statutory compliance matters.
- Travel across locations for compliance audits and inspections.
Eligibility
- Law degree from a premier institution.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant post-qualification experience in compliance.
- Proficiency in Excel and experience with compliance management tools.
- Understanding of contract drafting and review.
- Strong ethics, integrity, and professionalism.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
