Details of the Job/Internship
Factor is hiring an Associate, Contract Management I with a minimum of 3 years of experience to join its Bengaluru office. The role involves supporting client businesses by drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and working closely with client contracts management and in-house legal teams as part of a general support service.
Role and Responsibilities
- Drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts.
- Working closely with client in-house legal teams on international deals, bids, procurement, marketing, professional services, media, technology, and consumer matters.
- Managing an active caseload and ensuring compliance with delivery commitments.
- Adhering to client delivery processes and service standards.
- Managing and updating data on internal and client systems.
- Developing and maintaining contract templates, playbooks, and related tools.
- Contributing to continuous improvement of services and adding value to client engagements.
Eligibility
- Law degree and/or legally qualified.
- Legally eligible to work in the country where the role is based.
- Minimum 3 years of experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts in a law firm, ALSP, in-house legal team, or similar environment.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Regular client-facing experience and good commercial awareness.
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Word.
- Ability to manage client relationships and align with organisational values of authenticity, accountability, adaptability, and stewardship.
- Experience working in-house.
- Experience in telecommunications, financial services, or professional services contracting roles.
