Details of the Job/Internship

Corporate Commercial Law Advisors (CCLA) is seeking a dedicated and experienced contract specialist to join their firm as an Associate. 

Role and Responsibilities

This position demands a professional with a keen eye for detail, robust legal expertise, and the ability to navigate complex contract negotiations and management.

Client Interaction: This role involves significant client interaction. The ideal candidate must be capable of independently managing client communications, coordinating with clients, and negotiating with counterparties and their legal counsel.

Mandatory Skills

The applicant must:

• Be proficient in drafting, reviewing, marking up, negotiating, and finalising commercial agreements and contracts.
• Have experience in drafting and reviewing Master Service Agreements, Website Terms of Use, Privacy Policies (GDPR, CCPA, etc.), End-User License Agreements, Distributor Agreements, Contract Manufacturing Agreements, Loan License Agreements, and SAAS contracts.
• Have a deep understanding of key commercial considerations, risk management, compliance, regulatory challenges in emerging sectors (such as fintech and AI), and the nuances of cross-border operations.

Experience: Applicants must have at least three years of contract management experience with a corporate law firm, advisory, or consulting environment. As we primarily work with Indian laws, we will not be in a position to consider candidates with exclusively a KPO background.

Educational Background: Applicant must possess a law degree (LL.B. or higher). Candidates with additional qualifications in corporate law (LL.M., CS or CA)  or with Lawsikho's certificate in contracts will be preferred.

Location: Applicant must be Mumbai-based.

2. Professionals from BPO and KPO industries.
3. Professionals with a primary background in litigation.
4. Professionals with experience mainly in drafting litigation documents.
