Lakshmikumaran and Sridharan (LKS) seeks an Associate based in Delhi. Role and Responsibilities
Knowledge areas:
- Worked as a team member in General Corporate Advisory of a reputed law firm, with main focus on:
- Advisory on primary corporate and commercial laws: company law, FEMA, SEBI and RBI regulations, Contract Act, Environmental laws, Labour and Employment Laws etc.
- Drafting and vetting of commercial contracts
- Transactions and M&A experience will be an added advantage.
- Excellent research, analytical reasoning, drafting and communication skills
- Ability to understand a brief for opinion and provide the research for the same.
- Ability to deliver quality work product within specified timelines including in case of tight deadlines.
- Up to date knowledge of various corporate and commercial laws.
Eligibility
- A three/five- year law degree from a reputed university with a good academic record
- At least 1-3 years of post-qualification experience in the corporate practice of a well reputed firm.
The following will be desirable/added advantage:
- Overseas Master’s degree from a reputed institute
- Qualified or pursuing chartered accountant or company secretary.\

- Analytical ability- able to analyze laws and apply the same for practical use.
- Good turnaround time, detailed oriented
- Tech savvy, able to use the computer efficiently.
