Details of the Job/Internship
Amazon Web Services (AWS) India is hiring an Associate Corporate Counsel with 3+ years of legal experience to join their legal team in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, negotiate, and advise on cloud service agreements with various customers and IT partners.
- Support AWS’s local marketing, training, and consulting activities.
- Provide counsel to senior management and business teams on complex legal and regulatory matters.
- Handle legal issues in ongoing commercial relationships.
- Participate in broader legal projects across Amazon as needed.
Eligibility
- Law degree (J.D. or equivalent).
- Licensed to practice in India and/or other recognized jurisdictions (e.g., US, UK).
- Minimum 3 years of experience in legal practice, preferably in transactional drafting and negotiation.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Preferred: In-house experience in a tech company, or private practice focused on technology law.
Salary/Stipend
