Details of the Job/Internship
AHEAD is hiring an Associate Corporate Counsel – India with 4–5 years of experience to join their legal team in Gurugram.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate various IT-related contracts, including reseller, partner, master service, subcontractor, non-disclosure, and vendor agreements.
- Create flow-down terms post-contract execution for compliance.
- Provide advisory support on Indian employment law, including performance management, employee relations, policy compliance, and leaves.
- Evaluate and align India-US employment practices and update policies as needed.
- Conduct legal research and stay informed on relevant laws such as data privacy and IT law.
- Minimize risk and escalate legal concerns as necessary.
Eligibility
- JD, LLM, or LLB from a recognized law school.
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant post-qualification experience; in-house experience preferred.
- Proficiency in contract negotiation and employment law advisory.
- Ability to create legal templates and operational legal processes.
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple legal projects.
