Details of the Job/Internship
Amazon’s Indian subsidiary is hiring an Associate Corporate Counsel with 3–5 years of experience to join their office in Bengaluru.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide ongoing legal advice across intellectual property, digital media, e-commerce marketplace, company secretarial matters, and regulatory compliance.
- Address issues arising from existing commercial relationships and manage pre-litigation disputes and inquiries.
- Draft and negotiate contracts end-to-end while ensuring alignment with company policies, legal requirements, and business goals.
- Review program structures for new and existing initiatives and refine terms and conditions for different services and programs.
- Review and approve promotional materials across print and digital media to ensure compliance with Amazon standards.
Eligibility
- Minimum 3 years of legal experience.
- LL.B. from a recognized Indian university.
- Associate Member (ACS) of ICSI with active membership.
- At least 3 years as a practicing lawyer or in-house counsel with independent responsibility for advisory work, contract review, drafting, and negotiation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (preferred).
