Details of the Job/Internship
Amazon Seller Services Pvt. Ltd. is hiring an Associate Corporate Counsel with 3–5 years of post-qualification experience to join its Bengaluru office for a fixed term of 3 years.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on intellectual property, digital media, e-commerce marketplace, company secretarial, and regulatory compliance.
- Handle pre-litigation legal disputes and inquiries.
- Draft and negotiate procurement contracts, master service agreements, sales and advertising agreements, and NDAs.
- Review and approve promotional artwork and advertisements to ensure compliance with Amazon standards.
- Advise on program constructs, terms, and conditions for business initiatives.
- Assess business processes, draft scopes of contract, and align contracts with legal and business objectives.
- Collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders at all levels.
Eligibility
- LL.B. from a recognized Indian university.
- Associate Member (ACS) of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) with valid membership.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a practicing lawyer or in-house attorney handling advisory, contract review, drafting, and negotiations.
- Strong written and oral communication skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal, analytical, and business judgment skills.
