Details of the Job/Internship

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is hiring an Associate Corporate Counsel in Gurugram, Haryana. The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of diverse legal experience.

Role and Responsibilities

• Provide legal and company secretarial support to AWS India.
• Ensure compliance with Indian corporate laws and regulatory filings.
• Oversee governance, board meetings, and resolutions.
• Advise on legal risks, contracts, and regulatory changes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on legal matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements.
• Manage corporate policies and compliance obligations.
• Work proactively in a dynamic, tech-driven environment.

Eligibility

• LL.B from a recognized Indian university.
• ACS membership with ICSI (valid membership required).
• 3+ years of experience in corporate law, contract management, regulatory compliance, and governance.
• Experience in a law firm or in-house legal team handling corporate legal matters.
• Proficiency in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial agreements and corporate documents.
• Strong knowledge of Indian laws and regulations in a business context.
• Preferred: In-house legal experience in a technology company, familiarity with IT licensing, outsourcing, services agreements, and understanding of IP, competition, and privacy laws.
