Details of the Job/Internship

Wipro is hiring an In-House Legal Counsel to join its office in Bengaluru. The candidate will provide support in drafting, reviewing, and negotiating strategic partner engagements and advising business teams on various aspects of the Partner Ecosystem.

Role and Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate strategic partner agreements and engagements.
• Provide legal advice to business teams on matters relating to the partner ecosystem.
• Draft and review agreements including software license agreements, IT services contracts such as cloud and hosting agreements, IT infrastructure contracts, IP licenses, marketing agreements, ISDA contracts, construction contracts, property documents, treasury contracts, structured finance documents, hardware purchase and leasing agreements, staffing contracts, IT development agreements, collaboration agreements, NDAs, and bank guarantees.
• Address issues relating to software license compliance, including open source software and SaaS, IaaS, and PaaS related copyright matters.
• Advise on legal and compliance matters including data protection issues in cross-border transactions.
• Support handling of contract disputes including dispute resolution and litigation.
• Work with senior leadership and provide legal advice on relevant matters.
• Collaborate with teams supporting customer engagements and conduct training for legal teams.
• Assist in creating templates and legal playbooks.

Salary/Stipend
