Details of the Job/Internship
Wipro Limited is looking for a candidate for the position of Associate Corporate Counsel with 3 years of experience.
Role and Responsibilities
- Manage and Execute Global Compliance portfolio which includes Statutory and Ethics Compliance
- Drive Wipro’s global compliance program to ensure all functions and teams comply with global laws and regulations applicable to Wipro
- Manage third party engagement in running the statutory compliance program on Compliance Tracking System with all functions
- Be the central PoC for all statutory compliance matters between third party, functions, Legal SMU and other internal and external teams
- Manage and execute Global Statutory certification processes for both Comtrac (On tool) and Non-Comtrac countries (Offline)
- Ensure timely sourcing of regulatory updates, sharing with stake holders and revisions to compliance tasks on the tool
- Participate in third party daily status meetings and review stress testing results and status
- Generate and disseminate compliance reports including non-submission and non-compliance tasks to all SMU and functional teams on a regular basis
- Prepare quarterly reports with information from Comtrac tool and status from SMU and functional teams for Audit Committee and Management update
- Act as a focal point for all internal and external audits
- Manage compliance program integration as part of M&A project
- Facilitate Monthly Compliance meetings with coordination of SMU Legal updates
- Manage and execute ethics compliance frameworks encompassing policy management, risk management, third party compliance, Training & Communication and Reporting
- Manage mandatory training program including online with support of BiTS, adhoc training coordinating with SMU legal and functional spoc and deliver trainings as needed
- Act as central PoC for ethics related matters
- Manage COBC, ABAC, Code of Ethics declaration, Gifts & Business courtesies, Conflict of Interest program
- Oversee and support ERM stress testing.
- Provide advisory to high risk functions on ethics matters
- Provide advisory on due diligence findings on third parties.
Eligibility
- Graduation in Law, Commerce or Administration preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in corporate or law firm.
- Experience in Legal discipline preferred e.g. Compliance, Contracting, Litigations, etc.
- Risk Management or Audit background.
Salary/Stipend
