The firm regularly advises venture funds and high-growth companies in their investment transactions, fintech and frontier tech companies on regulatory and product compliance and RBI requirements. It also advises existing and aspiring fund managers on licensing and registration requirements of alternative investment funds, portfolio managers, and other regulated intermediaries.

Details of the Job/Internship

Goyel & Goyal is hiring one Associate with a minimum of 2 years of PQE for its corporate and transactions team based in New Delhi. The areas of practice include venture capital and general corporate advisory.

Role and Responsibilities

• Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating investment documentation on behalf of company/investor clients.
• Conducting legal due diligence on investee companies.
• Researching regulatory positions undertaken by RBI and SEBI.
• General corporate advisory and commercial contract review.

Eligibility

• Minimum of 2 years PQE in corporate advisory and venture capital transactions.
• Strong attention to detail and interest in venture capital and the regulatory landscape in India.
• Past exposure to fund formation is preferred but not mandatory.

Salary/Stipend

Compensation details will be finalized during the interview process with the selected candidate.
