Details of the Job/Internship
King Stubb & Kasiva is hiring an Associate – Corporate with a minimum of 4 years of post-qualification experience to join their Delhi office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead and manage transactional documentation for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and private equity investments.
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and transaction documents, including SPA, SHA, and JV agreements.
- Conduct and oversee legal due diligence and risk assessments for M&A deals.
- Provide corporate advisory on regulatory compliance, structuring, and corporate governance.
- Independently manage client communications, deliverables, and timelines.
- Liaise with regulators, external counsels, and other stakeholders during deal execution.
Eligibility
- LL.B. degree from a reputed law school.
- Minimum 4 years of post-qualification experience, preferably in a law firm handling corporate and M&A matters.
- Strong proficiency in contract drafting, negotiation, and deal execution.
- Comprehensive understanding of the Companies Act, FEMA, SEBI, FDI regulations, and related corporate laws.
- Excellent analytical, research, and client communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments.
