Details of the Job/Internship
Disprz is hiring an Associate Counsel – Legal & Compliance with 0–2 years of experience to join their Chennai office.
Role and Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate commercial agreements such as SaaS contracts, NDAs, MSAs, vendor agreements, and DPAs.
- Support Sales and Procurement teams in deal structuring and risk mitigation.
- Maintain and update templates, playbooks, and internal legal processes.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with global privacy laws, including GDPR, CCPA, and the DPDP Act.
- Conduct compliance checks, audits, and documentation updates.
- Provide legal research support on technology and regulatory developments.
- Maintain legal repositories and governance documents.
- Assist in developing policies, workflows, and risk-mitigation strategies.
Eligibility
- LLB or integrated law degree from a recognised university.
- 0–2 years of experience in contract review, corporate law, or compliance.
- Knowledge of data-privacy laws and SaaS business models preferred.
- Strong drafting, redlining, and analytical skills.
