Details of the Job/Internship
FactSet is hiring an Associate Counsel with at least 4 years of experience to join their legal team in Hyerabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft and negotiate client and vendor agreements involving data, SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, and NDAs.
- Manage the contract lifecycle from drafting to execution.
- Provide legal interpretation and advice to product, sales, and finance teams.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure company-wide compliance and risk management.
- Support the legal team globally and provide contract-related training to stakeholders.
- Conduct legal research and assist in internal policy development and documentation.
- Handle confidential data with discretion and professionalism.
Eligibility
- Minimum of 4 years’ post-qualification experience as a licensed practicing lawyer.
- Experience in commercial and corporate law, including contract drafting and review.
- Background in mergers and acquisitions, software licensing, or intellectual property is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team-oriented global environment.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and handle confidential information.
