Details of the Job/Internship
SpotDraft is hiring an Associate Counsel with approximately 1 year of experience to join their legal team in Bangalore.
Role and Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including customer, vendor, consulting, service, and NDA agreements.
- Advise internal teams on legal issues across technology, IP, data protection, employment, and corporate matters.
- Collaborate on the development of legal tech solutions that transform in-house counsel workflows.
- Assist with implementation of contract management policies and compliance processes.
- Support corporate legal matters such as due diligence and regulatory compliance.
- Stay informed on legal tech developments and applicable laws.
Eligibility
- BA LL.B with around 1 year of law firm or in-house experience in commercial contracts.
- Prior exposure to CLM tools preferred.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate legal terms across teams.
- Strong initiative, independence, and project ownership.
- Must be based in or willing to relocate to Bangalore.
