Details of the Job/Internship
U.S. Pharmacopeial Convention (USP) is hiring an Associate Counsel with 6–7 years of legal experience to join their office in Hyderabad.
Role and Responsibilities
- Provide legal advice on corporate and operational matters in compliance with Indian laws.
- Review and draft contracts including NDAs, vendor agreements, and service contracts.
- Act as single point of contact for contract management for India.
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance across operations.
- Manage contract lifecycle and maintain CMS database.
- Support court proceedings and coordinate with external law firms.
- Draft legal documents, conduct legal research, and prepare filings.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders and legal teams for seamless legal operations.
Eligibility
- Bachelor’s degree in law (LL.B) and Master’s degree in law (LL.M).
- 6–7 years of relevant legal experience.
- Prior experience in contract drafting, legal research, and compliance.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.
- Experience from a reputed law college or National Law School is preferred.
